Return and Cancellation Policy
At Cake Taste, we strive to provide the best customer experience and ensure your complete satisfaction with our products. Therefore, we offer the following return and cancellation policy:
1. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation before preparation: You can cancel your order before the cake preparation process begins, provided the cancellation is made at least 4 days before the delivery date, at no extra charge. Please contact us via email at [email protected] or call us at [phone number] to complete the cancellation process.
- Cancellation after preparation has started: Due to the nature of our fresh and customized products, if cake preparation has started or if cancellation is not made 4 days before the delivery date, we do not accept cancellation requests, and the full order value will be charged.
- Cancellation of delivery orders: If the order has already been sent for delivery, cancellation is not possible, and the full delivery and order fees will be charged.
2. Return Policy:
Since all our products are prepared to order and customized for each customer, we do not accept returns of cakes after receipt except in the following cases:
- There was an error in the order (such as the wrong flavor or size).
- The cake arrived damaged due to a malfunction in the delivery process on our part .
Note: We are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during delivery if the customer uses their own couriers or delivery methods. To request a replacement or return due to an order error or damage caused by our delivery, the customer must submit a complaint within two hours of receiving the order, attaching photos of the product.
3. Refund:
- If the cancellation request is approved before preparation, or in the event of an order error or product damage due to a delivery fault on our part, the full amount paid will be refunded or a voucher of the same value will be issued.
- Payments by credit card or bank transfer: Funds are refunded using the same payment method within [7-14] business days.
- Cash on delivery payments: A purchase voucher will be issued for the same value as the amount paid.
4. How to submit a return or cancellation request:
To make a return or cancellation request, please contact us via email at [email protected] or call us at [phone number], stating the order details and the product issue if any.
5. Policy of amicable settlements and compensation:
In compliance with the provisions of the Saudi Electronic Commerce Law and its implementing regulations issued by the Ministry of Commerce, we would like to clarify the following:
- If the customer receives the order , this is considered fulfillment of the contract between the two parties, and it does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund , unless a substantial defect in the product or a clear violation of the order is proven.
- In case of a delivery delay , and the order has been received by the customer:
- This does not automatically result in a full refund of the order value according to the regulations.
- The case is considered according to the extent of the impact and the resulting damage.
- However, in keeping with Cake Taste's commitment to customer satisfaction, a friendly solution may be offered that includes:
- Adding balance to the customer's wallet within the store
- Or issue a purchase voucher
- Provided that it is:
- With a maximum limit not exceeding 100 Saudi Riyals.
- It is determined based on an assessment of the situation by the store management.
- This compensation is:
- Optional initiative to improve customer experience
- It is not considered a legal obligation or an acquired right in all cases.
All requests for compensation or amicable settlements are based on a case study in accordance with the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and this does not constitute an admission of negligence or a legal obligation to provide compensation.
